We will pick you up from your hotel early morning to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. After that we start the temple tour with a license local guide. Start at the South Gate of Angkor Thom and move to the central Angkor Thom (Bayon consists 54 towers and 216 faces of Buddhisatva Avalokesvara) which was built by the Angkor’s greatest King Jayavaraman VII at the end of 12th. Visit the Terrace of Elephant which was used for the public ceremonies and served as the stage for the king’s grand audience, Terrace of leper king one of Angkor’s mysteries, the ancient Royal Palace Phimeanakas. Visit the fabulous Ta Prohm temple which is embraced by the enormous fig trees. In the afternoon visit Banteay Kdei built by the King Jayavarman VII in the late of 12th century. The temple sprawling, largely non-restored, monastic complex in much the same style of Ta Prohm temple. After leaving the Angkor Archeological Park you will visit a monastery and you will receive a good luck blessing from a Cambodian monks. Tour guide will translate the monk blessing. Your guide will meet you up at the lobby of your hotel. After briefing you the program and routing, we jump in a jeep and drive to the countryside passing by the local market, Hindu temple, lotus pond, Buddhist temple, duck farm and vegetable farm etc… Drive through Phsar Krom, which is a local everyday market. First stop at Wat Athvea, a Hindu temple built the same time of Angkor Wat. Drive along the back road where you can see the duck farms and lotus farm before a short stop at Wat Pokrom, learn about Buddhism in Cambodia through the painting, the statues or you may also interact directly with monks. Continue driving through Chreav village, where you will see rice fields, birds, water buffalo, lotus pond & Khmer typical houses. Walk through the village and you get the chance to interact with local peoples, observe their organic vegetable gardens and daily activity of the local people. Last stop at the rice field with for a great photo opportunity of the animal, birds and the landscape of the countryside, drinks are served on the spot while you enjoy watching the sunset. 2:30 pm: My driver will pick you up at your hotel. 3:00 pm: Our cycling tour will be starting from the office nearby town. You will venture off the beaten path and ride through the picturesque villages that many tourists frequently overlook after a brief introduction to the tour and a fast ride through Siem Reap's fairly congested downtown. 4:00 pm: Your first stop will be in a tiny village where you may rest and find out about the way of life there. You'll probably pass by kids waving and saying hello along the route. You have the chance to mingle with the inhabitants and the lush surroundings through this tour. 5:00 pm: As you travel further down the dirt roads, you will also make stops at other fields to learn about the various means of support used by locals. 5:45 pm: We'll find the ideal location to view the sunset over the rice paddies, we also enjoy the bird watching. We’ll forage through the streets of Phnom Penh in search of the Kingdom’s finest urban and contemporary art on a curated tour. There’s been a prominent art scene developing in the Kingdom for the past decade, part of the country’s cultural renaissance. We may spend about 1-hour and 30 minutes to walk and see the whole entire building of Angkor Wat temple, and take amazing pictures before arrival crowds. After that, we continue to visit the jungle temple of Ta Prohm, which has been left in its original state and is partly overgrown with trees and huge roots, and then finally, go to the South Gate of Angkor Thom to marvel at the Bayon and Baphoun temples with their 54 towers and 216 faces of Buddhisatva Avalokesvara, and the Terrace of the Elephant. After the sun went down there is still enough day light to see more rice paddies with water buffalo grazing and other wildlife on the way back to the starting location of the tour. There transportation will wait for you to bring you back to your hotel. The tour is set up that even inexperienced people with quad bike have no problem to join and have fun with this experience.
