Once we chat about how to responsibly and passively interact with turtles and other sea life, we will walk down to the beach and hit the water! We will take it nice and slow so you have a few moments to get accustomed to your gear and you feel confident enough to enjoy the underwater world. This is a natural sea grass bed, which is why we are blessed with turtles :) Please do remember, however, that this is a completely wild experience and we could never guarantee the sighting of a wild animal. 99 times out of 100 we see several baby and adult turtles per tour! We will take a cultural walk around the Palenqe of Benkos, off the beaten path, where you will be immersed in the Africa hidden in Colombia. We named it Black Legacy Experience, because it is definitely an essential place for our black history in Colombia. This town hosts a sort of spin off of Cartagena's history in timeline. After that, we conclude with a glorious traditional lunch. We also learn some words in their language as we tell you the story, so you'll be able to greet natives and you'll receive, not only their greeting back, but also their smiles. (PLEASE: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE IN GOOD/EXCELLENT SHAPE FOR THIS EXCURSION AND NOT AFRAID OF HEIGHTS OR BEING DEEP WATERS) Max weight 230. In this Adventure you will visit the Tanama river in the Arecibo area. It starts with a hike down a muddy, slippery and rocky trail to the river(1.5 miles of hard hiking). We will arrive to the top of a cave and do a 250 ft long zipline that will take your breath away with the view. Here is where most participants rest a while for the next activity. When we are all set we will hike upstream to a huge cave and then jumped into the refreshing water. We will enter the caves and we will see some amazing water curtains and springs. At the exit of the second cave we do a small stop and you will have the option of submerging into the water to visit a secret cave. Tour isn’t over yet. Now the guides will show you the best tricks to do the white water tubing. While you are in the white water tubing you will pass some rapids and also some amazing canons all the way until you get to the third and last cave. At the exit of this cave you will do a small climb and the hike back to the cars. Duration 4-6 hours. Other things to note Don't let the beautiful sights fool you. This adventure is for real adventure and nature lover only. Please do NOT daydream. If you are not sure that you don't qualify you probably don't.

This magical experience starts in our meeting spot in our town Chemuyil, where we will get ready for our adventure. We will ride on our bicycles through our hometown making our way to three different cenotes around our community. Physical wear with the bicycles is minimum. We spend most of the time in the water. Riding the bicycles will be, 20-25 mins(total). Distance from cenote to cenote is 5-10 mins. If you are looking for a fancy activity, something fast, big company tours, this is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. This is not a commercial coffee tour, it is an educational experience to create awareness in the only organic specialty coffee plantation in the Monteverde area, located in the Ecological Sanctuary, a 48 hectares family project focused on conservation, sustainability, agroecology, education and culture. In a guided workshop by an expert where you will learn from the basics of ancestral agriculture, how we create our own organic fertilizers, then you will know the coffee gardens planted in the forest that surrounds the Ecological Sanctuary, the drying area, and the process that involves the specialty coffee (history, plantations, growth, development, varieties and the science of flavor to prepare a good coffee). After leaving the forest, we will enjoy a guided coffee tasting, sharpening the senses to recognize defects, attributes, aromas and flavors in different qualities of coffee. Finally, we will create an interactive demonstration of the science of flavor and all the variables that an alchemist applies in the preparation of a coffee using different infusion methods. This workshop is an experience that will expand your knowledge of the world of coffee and help you become a home barista and an informed consumer. We also invite you to explore more of our property by hiking our trails, and connecting with nature.

You will be part of a very local tour, only for adults, covering three important traditions in Old San Juan downtown: RUM, CIGARS and ESPADRILLES. We will start by meeting at 150 Calle Fortaleza, the most famous street in Old San Juan, where we will show you some hidden gems nearby. We will give you an introduction, a welcome drink and start our tour. After that, we will head to our first stop, a family- owned traditional rum store renowned for its "Ron Añejo," our favorite in the entire island. We will taste different varieties while discussing San Juan and its culture. Then, at the same location, we will begin the cigar tasting. We will learn to detect their quality, sample local varieties, and observe the different processes involved in their production. Afterwards, not far from there, we will have a little show with some drinks at an artisanal espadrille shop, the most traditional shoe from Spanish times. Live a true El Yunque rainforest experience with a local. Excellent for foodies and adventure fans. We visit 2 waterfalls and the famous waterslide. TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED. Adventure to pure rainforest and learn the history of its unique flora & fauna like iguanas, guava trees, bamboos and 300 year old trees. We drive to the East side of El Yunque Rainforest. On arrival we do a 30 minute hike to the first waterfall & watering hole. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, and scenic waterfall. Further up, after a 15 minute hike (High difficulty level), there is another waterfall with a natural waterslide. We end the trip by stopping for lunch at a local family owned restaurant that serves authentic grandma style food (Food not included in price). The hike for these outdoor wonders requires regular shoes with “good grip” that can get wet and muddy. The trail is very muddy and clothes will get fully wet. NO FLIPS FLOPS OR CROCS ALLOWED. Safety is my priority and we will have a fun adventure to show you the authentic essence of Puerto Rico & secret gems of the rainforest. Good Physical Condition required. Experience the beauty of Jaco Beach from on the back of a horse during this small-group horseback riding tour. Follow your guide along winding beach trails, which grant you beautiful sea views, feel the ocean breeze in your hair while you ride. Travel at a slow pace so that you can take in your surroundings and see local wildlife, which your guide points out. Choose from several departure times to suit your schedule We'll start heading south along the Jaco shore. We will take stops on the way at different sites to enjoy the views. This is the smaller version of my "Bribri: chocolate and waterfall" - tour. Which means it's without lunch, without waterfall and which much less time to talk and get to know Bribri culture. Still I would like to take the afternoon to share the heart of our culture with you - chocolate. We will see how it is prepared from fruit to drink and get to know some of the medicinal plants that complement it. The meeting point is infront of the "Colono" in the "Cruze de Hone Creek". It is a big shop right at the road from Puerto Viejo to Cahuita. At this point there is also the crossing with the road that leaves the coast and leads to Bribri, Sixaola and the indigenous territory. It's easiest if you have your own car. If not please contact me, so I can organize transportation (it's not included in the price of the tour!) Starting at the "Colono" I will show you the way to get into the indigenous territory and we will visit Catatu's family project where we experience everything about cacao and chocolate.

All Levels Surf Lessons at Playa Espailla Norte in Manuel Antonio, hosted by my co-worker Glen and his team. After meeting at our place, we will start with the safety instruccions, i will also give you some tips on how to take most of the advantage of this lessons. Around 15 minutes later we will go inside the water and start practicing first with the smaller waves, as many times as necessary until you will stand up on your board. As you get use to it, we will be taking you deeper for bigger waves. This is a 2 hours lesson, then, you can keep using your board to practice on your own, if you feel like you still need longer time with the instuctor, we are happy to reschedule a new lesson. Bilingual guide (Spanish/English) throughout the tour. - Exercise : Snorkel with mask and instructor. You must know how to swim to be able to snorkel.
