We are Liberty Hill Farm, in Rochester, Vermont! Tours run Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 9 am. Our farm tours are scheduled to coincide with daily chores to allow guests the opportunity to experience daily farm life. Guests will be able to watch the cow milking process and even try their hand at milking! From there, we will explain the journey from cow to milk jug. Guests will learn about the different ages and stages of the dairy cow, from birth through adulthood. We will meet, pet, and even feed baby calves, explore the barns, and meet kitties. Every tour is adjusted to meet the needs and interests of our guests. We encourage our guests to participate hands-on, and encourage questions and ideas! We simply love to share our love of farming and our animals with others! ***All proceeds from our farm tours go directly to our nonprofit organization, Liberty Hill Center for Agricultural Education. *** Other things to note: I only book about a month in advance, so if your preferred date does not appear, check back! To many, the world of Hasidic Jews is shrouded in mystery and secrecy—well, not anymore. On this experience, you get to see first hand the daily lives, rituals, and customs of the Hasidic community, guided by a member of the community and being able to access places seemingly closed off and hidden to the outsider. An opportunity to be able to ask any questions about the Jewish faith, culture, and philosophy. We kick off the experience inside a Hasidic home, and learning about what it takes to keep a Kosher home. Then its off to the streets of Crown Heights, starting with exploring the world famous “770” Synagogue, getting a glimpse into the hustle and bustle of daily prayer services. Next stop is a Jewish scribe, seeing up close the intricate details involved in producing the Torah Scrolls. Followed by a walk down the avenue, visiting the local shops, and seeing the traditions dating back to the early 1800’s. There is a camp restroom on the premises. Skywatcher A cognitive UFO experience set in 2018 where your team investigated the disappearance of a Skywatcher friend of yours. private and small group surf lessons at Beach 67 in the Rockaways! OTHER TIMES AVAILABLE- just ask! lesson time is structured as below. Late arrivals will be accommodated when possible, but you may have a hard end at the original stop time. 15 minutes: get suited and workshop technique on land 60 minutes: surf time! 15 minutes: change, review your session, and ask any questions! We will meet at the beach where we will get you on the right size board for your size and your level of experience. We will go through a quick stretch and run thru a few practice paddles and pop-ups to get us ready to rip! After that we will spend a few moments looking at the water where I will explain the current conditions, explain why we will choose the section of beach we are choosing, give a few pointers on wave selection, and then we will head out into the water together. You will be on the board and I will be at your side at all times. Once in the water we will review water safety on the surf board and I will show you how we pick waves. When the waves come I will instruct you when to paddle, give a small push on the board, and coach you on when to pop up and make any corrections to your stance so that you can get the longest ride possible. For intermediate lessons I will paddle out with you and coach via my voice (no push) and help you to catch your own waves with confidence.

Welcome to the world of miniature horses! From history to living requirements, grooming, training, and showing, we will share it all! Tour the horse farm! Our loveable small equines are ready for incidental petting, grooming and on the ground care! Basic encounter rain or shine! Take a guided horseback riding tour on our 300+ acres of private mountain trails lead by an experienced guide. After signing up and meeting the horses, we will show you the skills you need to ride through our trails. You will be accompanied by an experienced trail guide the entire time. This is a beginner friendly ride, most of the ride is walking, we go at the pace of the least experienced rider in the group. If you would like to do some more trotting, don't want to ride in a group, or are experienced, we recommend booking a private ride. The ride itself is 1 hour long and is done in a western saddle. The minimum age is 7 years to ride. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests before booking!

Everything is better with goats. (It's true.) Designed specifically for the people who love being active in the outdoors and also love animals! Come hike with us and our herd of rescued goats through the beauty of the forest tucked into a remote part of the Catskills, just 2 hours from Manhattan. Our goats feel safest with humans and so they magically follow and walk with us through the woods on seasoned trails as we become part of their herd. No leashes needed! We will meander over beautiful streams, enjoying the wildlife and scenery while we forage for some of the goat's favorite treats. We stop midway for a brief rest and water break before finishing our loop, hiking approximately 2.5 miles and taking about 1.5 - 2 hrs, depending on our pace. For those who are interested, your guide can tell you the rescue story of each goat, share their quirks and different personalities and answer any question you might have about goats in general (with a few terrible goat jokes/puns thrown in for good measure.) If you are looking for a unique outdoor experience that combines your love of animals, hiking and nature, this is for you! Experience life off the beaten path on our secluded, quiet, organic farm in the hills of southern Vermont. Our farm tours are scheduled to coincide with daily chores to allow guests to experience daily farm life. Come meet our new baby spring Lambs and help bottle feed them!! Tasting of this years maple syrup! We’ll take a hike around the property while we do our chores: visiting the greenhouse, carrying hay to our cows and sheep, feeding the chickens and collecting the day’s eggs. When available, the cows and sheep can be hand-fed grain (behind a fence for our cows). Along the way, you’ll learn the history of the Taft family farm (President Taft’s father was born here in 1810) and our conservation mission to raise heritage breed farm animals, which are often classified as endangered. Each season brings a new experience & different daily chores. We’ll end our time together sampling seasonal farm food— from our own maple syrup in the winter and spring to farm fresh veggies in the summer. A small selection of seasonal items will be available for sale. Farm appropriate clothing and shoes are a must. Things you don’t mind getting muddy, hay-covered, and poopy! In this class you will learn to make donuts from scratch. And learn how to make toppings, cook them, top them them and then devour them! You will be taking a class that is hands on. We teach in a way you will be able to do this at your own home. All supplies are included. You will take home remaining donuts you make. All children have to accompanied by an adult. So you have to purchase 1 adult booking for child or children.

You will be welcomed and offered a nice cup of herbal fresh dripped tea of your choice. We will have you in a relaxing atmosphere. You will learn the history of essential herbal oils with include herbs, flowers and extracts. You will learn Notes of fragrance blending and how to add them all together. You will create your own natural perfume roll on and also solid perfume. You will leave with 2 perfumes x 1 roll on and 1 solid.
