Wild Løvstakken hike- feel as a local in Bergen city center
Every neighbor in Bergen has their own mountain. Did you know that?? Exactly, Bergen is surrounded by 7 beautiful mountains and each neighborhood has a mountain near by! I'm so lucky to have my one. The one with the best views! Løvstakken has a 360 degrees view from the top. From there, we’ll see the ocean, the city and all the small islands around and the fjord. Also, it's one of the quietest and very paceful (It's surrounded just by locals). It's possible to see some deers and other small animals on their daily life. This peak is 477meters high and we’ll climb almost from the sea level. The terrain can be challenging for non experienced hikers, so it’s required previous experience on rocky terrains hikes. This climb is something very typical in our daily life. Would do you like to have a mountain as a backyard??? I’ll tell you about our lifestyle and culture… If you are a nature lover, definitly, you will fall in love with Norway. Would do you join me for this cool and local experience??!! I'm looking forward to cheers with you on the top with some warm tea and local snakcs…The view…is part of the menu too!! Friluftsliv og skål!

Hike world famous Pulpit rock with firstresponder guide
Join me on one of Norway's most popular mountain hikes and create memories you will never forget. We start the trip from Preikestolen parking lot right by the Hiking cafe` The trip starts with a steep hill immediately and we will go through some beautiful parts with valley, hills, mountains and the reward is a beautiful view from the Preikestol plateau - After you have had your great photos and "Instagram" portrait we will have a break with some to drink and snacks before we start on the way back to Hiking cafe for relaxing before we drive back. We calculate 2 hours each way on this trip, the trail is beautifully arranged but a bit demanding some parts. After the hike we will drive to Høllesli/Lysefjorden viewpoint over the fjord for a beautiful panorama overlooking the famous Lysefjorden.
Mountain hike to traditional cabin
**Dates are flexible due to weather** We will start by Fløybanen center station, we'll take the cable car up to Mount Fløyen. From there I'll take you on a hike further up the mountain. If you are interested in photography, I'll give some hints and tips during our hike. There are many beautiful spots on the way up. Reaching Rundemanen (568m), I'll take you off the main path, we'll hike for an additional 15-20 min on a secluded path leading to a small hidden cabin. The cabin is over 100 years old, and there is no running water nor electricity. We have to rely on a big fire place for warmth. In the summer when it’s warm we can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Here we'll have hot chocolate/coffee made on a gas stove. While we get warm around the fire I will talk about the history of the cabin and the nearby areas. After spending some time in the cabin, we'll return back to the city. Depending on the weather we have multiple choices for our return path. Other things to note: Guests should be in a normal to good shape, as this hike requires a little skill with uneven terrain and steep hills. Can be suitable for kids and older people as long as you are used to hike freely in nature.
Back to nature in the Norwegian Woods
You will be picked up in Bergen sentrum. We will drive about 10 minutes to the «Kanadaskogen» (woods of Canada in English). Here we will be hiking trough the «Damsgårdsfjellet», «Olsok fjellet» and «Gravdalsfjellet». You will experience a great view over Bergen. At the end of the hiking we will pass a Norwegian Cottage and here we will eat our lunsj, drink some cofee, resting and listen to the life in the Woods. Storyes from the old times also during the 2. World war -The hiking will take effektive 2,5 -4 hours but if you prefere a shorter or longer hiking i can also offer you that with just taking you to another route. The time at the Norwegian cottage, rest and lunsj comes in addition to the hiking. After visiting the Norwegian cottage it will be about 40 minutes back to the car that will take you back to Bergen Sentrum. The cottage has no electricity and no wather tap. Are you ready for a back to nature experience ? Other things to note In Bergen the weather can change very quickly. It is therefore important to plan Your clothes after the weather. The terrain is quite hilly so you need good hiking shoes. Dont bring white shoes, the shoes might get dirty. You need to be in Good shape. A positive mind is also good.

From there we will hike on part gravel road part forrest path for 3km (ish 50 min) to the cabin Fuglemyrhytta. The cabin was designed by the famous Snøhetta which also is behind the Opera house in Oslo, “Under” – Europe’s First Underwater Restaurant and the new library in Alexandria. Here you will enjoy a great view over Oslo while we enjoy something to drink, as well as some Norwegian chocolate. As new rules doesn't allow for visitors to enter the cabin we'll be enjoying the view outside. Then we will hike to Frognerseteren metro station where the tour ends. This place has an amazing cafe with a stunning view over Oslo. The second leg of this hike is 2km and will take around 30 minutes The hike is doable in almost any weather conditions, however it is most enjoyable if the weather is good.
